This page is to let you know a little about us.  We live in the Columbus, Ohio area which I never thought I would.  I lived in a little town about an hour and a half away from here that had one streetlight.  Columbus is quite different for me.  My friend Pam and I used to say we would never want to live in Columbus.  My husband and I got married a little over 5  years ago and since he isn't here in the room, I can say that now I DO like Columbus.  It took me a while to find my way around, and I'm still working on it.  Rex was born here, so he found it rather humorous when I would call and say, how do I get to such and such, or how do I get home from where I am.  I didn't find it quite so funny!

 Braz  Oz Phire

We have a Black Headed Caique named Braz, a White Bellied Caique named Oz and a blue headed Pionus named Phire. (She was only 9 1/2 weeks old in the picture)

I started looking into havanese about 5 years ago (2003) and everything I read really intrigued me.  I decided that was the dog for me, but couldn't do it at that time due to being diagnosed with breast cancer.  I went through all the tests, biopsies, surgeries, chemo, and radiation.  I am so thankful to God that he allowed me to be a survivor.  I am putting it on our site so if someone reads it and is going through the same thing or knows someone that is and wants to talk to someone who has been there, give me a call or e-mail.  I would be glad to help you if I can.

We got our first hav and then our second, third, and the list goes on.  We got a wonderful little boy and wanted him to be shown, but didn't really think we would be showing.  That changed too!  His second weekend out he got winner's dog for a three point major.  I talk more about showing and have pictures on the show page.

My husband and I like to shoot pool.  In fact, we have a pool table in our living room.  People ask Rex how he managed that.  Our team does pretty well and got to try for Vegas twice.  Hopefully the next time we will make it.

We are members of the Southwestern Church of Christ in Grove City for which I am very thankful. I have met so many wonderful people there since moving to this area.   Come join us if you are ever in the area.

I have one son named Heath .  He married a wonderful gal named Monica and I am so absolutely thrilled that she is MY daughter-in-law!  She has about a month left before  graduating to become a school teacher.   Heath is a sports editor for a newspaper.  He went to cover the Super Bowl in 2006 and got to watch the Steelers and Seahawks play.  Now that was a dream come true for him!!

I wanted to let you know a little about us and things we like and do.  You HAV a GREAT day!!
